In recent decades China has made incredible strides architecture and design – and is becoming a creative superpower in its own right. In the interest of linking East and West, we have the iF Design Center Chengdu as the first overseas iF design center , a world-class venue that allows visitors to experience cutting-edge designs in Chengdu's Hi-Tech Zone.

Especially for design studios and manufacturers all over the world, this new creative hub offers space for rent and opportunities to reach the creative market in China. All companies, designers or start ups are welcome to use the 4,000 square meters of space for exhibitions and events, temporary offices and meeting rooms. The new creative space will function as a hub for creative industries and the interested public in Chengdu , one of China's most progressive cities. The integrated iF Design Café and Shop will function as a meeting point for designers, manufacturers and the public.

GUIDING TOUR THROUGH THE BUILDING

Exhibition Area

Create your own exhibition by showing awarded and not awarded products and projects on five exhibition areas with different sizes, ranging from 85 to 165 m². The areas can be booked for 4 or 8 weeks.

Event Space

A creative environment for your workshops, training courses, presentations, conferences or parties. Book this 130 m² event area, with a huge LED screen, for your individual event!

Conference Room

Another fully equipped conference room with a size of 120 m² is on the upper floor and can be booked for individual requirements.

Temporary Office

Do you plan to open a design studio in China and need to get some first experience? Nine different Temporary Offices can be rented free of charge until the end of March 2020.

Meeting Room

Do you need top-equipped meeting rooms in an exclusive ambience? Our three rooms are suitable for groups of 8 to 12 people.

Relaxing Zone

There are various recreation zones as an integral part of all working areas, inviting you to linger.

You can rent exhibition spaces,
plan conferences, panel discussions or workshops in the fully equipped event spaces,
book temporary offices – for three, six or nine months (for free until 31 March 2020)
sell products at the iF Design Shop and test it for a Chinese audience.

iF Design Shop

iF has established the world's first iF Design Shop, in which exclusive limited-edition products are available. Through collaborations with different companies, exclusive products that are practical, beautiful and valuable are offered. Winners of the iF DESIGN AWARD are welcome to join the iF Design Shop, so that even more outstanding products can be provided to the public.

iF Design Café - with Sustainability

The iF Design Café combines food and beverages with design to create an exceptional setting. Delicious foods with local characteristics are served here, but more importantly the café also fulfills its responsibilites towards environmental protection: no paper cups are used at all, instead all cupas are reusable and eco-friendly.
