TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2023

The award is co-organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the Taiwan Bicycle Association.

iF DESIGN ASIA Ltd. Taiwan, subsidiary of iF International Forum Design GmbH in Germany, has been commissioned to organize the  award.  This  award  has  become  an  important  accolade  for  the global  bicycle  industry  since  its  inception  in  2012.  It  recognizes  outstanding innovative  products  in  the  bicycle  industry,  leading  and  reflecting  industry trends. Winning products are exhibited at TAIPEI CYCLE yearly.

KUKAN DESIGN AWARD

Established to connect the value of spatial design to the future, the KUKAN DESIGN AWARD is the most esteemed of such awards in Japan.

The mission behind the KUKAN DESIGN AWARD is to mine the solutions of our society’s multi-faceted challenges and break through to a hopeful future. Activities associated with the KUKAN DESIGN AWARD focus on creating places and opportunities for the myriad people passionate about design to assemble and collectively hone their craft. These activities bring to light new design values and talent, both domestic and international, and build a creative platform serving as an index for future generations.

ADI AWARDS

The ADI Awards of ADI-FAD, the Industrial Design Association of Fostering Arts and Design, have been granted since 1961 recognizing the work of designers and both national and international companies.

Their goal is to celebrate excellence in industrial design and acknowledge its importance as the expression of the economic, social, and cultural values of our society. As well as contributing to record and display the legacy companies and designers contribute year after year. The ADI Awards bring together the main recognitions in the field of product design in Spain, over this 59 years there have been 40 editions of the Delta Awards, for professionals and industrial design companies; the ADI Medals, for product design students, since 1976; and the ADI Culture Awards, for those projects which promote and value the culture of design, since 2016.

TAIPEI DESIGN AWARD

Taipei City Government organizes the Taipei Design Award in the ethos of “Design for Adaptive City”, as an on-going gesture to the world, particularly to those with a passion for creativeness and design, a gesture in projecting the urban branding imagery of “Design Taipei; Dream Taipei”.

Here is an open call for outstanding international designs and an effort to shape Taipei into a convergence platform for creative designs.

Note: The competition was known as Taipei Industrial Design Award between 2008 and 2011, re-named in 2012 as Taipei International Design Award, and re-named again in 2022 as Taipei Design Award, and has been so called since.

GOLDEN PIN DESIGN AWARD

Established in 1981, Taiwan’s Golden Pin Design Award is the most influential design award in the global Huaren market.

The planning and handling of the awards, the prize-giving ceremony, and all other related activities are executed by Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI). In 2015, the Golden Pin Design Award launched three separate awards – the GOLDEN PIN DESIGN AWARD, GOLDEN PIN CONCEPT DESIGN AWARD, and YOUNG PIN DESIGN AWARD. The purpose of each award is to commend outstanding innovation in design within different target demographics.

THE 15th TAIWAN INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD 2022

The Taiwan Interior Design Award (TID Award) is the largest competition platform to promote interior design in the Greater China region.

It is also serves as an important platform where creative minds and elite Asian designers come together to exchange, converge and observe their essential field studies on contemporary Chinese lifestyles and regional culture in order to present the diversity of modern "space". Since 2007, the TID Award has been extended from Taiwan to the entire Asia-Pacific region. Rising stars compete with veterans for the best designs. A TID Award has become one of the most professional design awards in the Greater China region. Regardless of nationality, designers who have ideas for creative interior design and consider interior design to be socially responsible are invited to participate.

BRASIL DESIGN AWARD

Established in 2010, Brasil Design Award belongs to the Brazilian Association of Design Companies (ABEDESIGN).

The award has ten main categories: Branding, Craft For Design, Environment Design, Packaging Design, Positive Impact Design, Product Design, Service Design, Digital Design, Editorial Design and Graphic Design. The categories are divided into 72 subcategories and seek to represent the Brazilian design scene.

PRÊMIO ABRE DA EMBALAGEM BRASILEIRA

The ABRE Award for Brazilian Packaging has as main objective to choose the packages that stand out as icons of excellence in quality, technology, design, functionality, sustainability in the product life cycle and innovation. The way the ABRE Award is divided emphasizes the main packaging user markets and the strategic attributes of packaging. Through the award of the GOLD, SILVER and / or BRONZE trophy, the ABRE Award gives the winners the merit for excellence in the development of packaging, promoting the national and international appreciation of the companies involved and their packaging.

KIDS DESIGN ASSOCIATION

The Kids Design Association is a non-profit organization (NPO) aiming to contribute to creating a social environment that leads to the healthy growth and development of children, who make up the next generation.

The Association consists of various member companies and other organizations supporting the Association, which conducts activities under three design missions. The objectives of the Association are to widely publicize and disseminate these kids’ design principles and thereby expand the development of products and creation of content taking the standpoint of children into consideration.
