iF TOP LABELS: CRITERIA AND DEFINITIONS
Points
The assessments are made on the basis of a points system, which awards 20 points for every iF DESIGN AWARD received and 100 points for each iF DESIGN AWARD Gold.
Period
The iF Top Labels are updated annually after the final jury of the iF DESIGN AWARD. Then the results of the last 5 years of the competition will be used.
Assigment of points
Points are awarded once per Creative Role (Manufacturer or Client + In-house design team or Design studio). If a DESIGN AWARD Winner enters both roles (for example, manufacturer and in-house design team), he also receives the points for both roles. The countries mentioned in these addresses are also the basis for the iF Top Label - COUNTRIES group.
Labels
The number of iF Top Labels awarded is based on the number of winners in the group. For reasons of exclusivity, a maximum of 10% of the winners of a group should receive a label. BEST OF - from 50 award winners
TOP 3 - from 50 award winners
TOP 10 - from 100 award winners
TOP 25 - from 250 award winners
